Symbol Residences
Symbol Residences is a luxurious apartment complex located on the picturesque coast of Limassol. In undertaking this project, we were tasked with shaping the identity and character of the building, and to that end, we utilized a variety of high-quality materials to give it a unique and sophisticated feel.
One such material we used is Iroko wood, which we incorporated into the exterior of the building adjacent to the pool. Known for its exceptional durability and natural wooden look, Iroko is one of the strongest hardwoods on the market, and was the perfect choice for this project.
In the gym area of Symbol Residences, we used a combination of wooden decking and brass details on the walls, creating a unique and inviting atmosphere with the use of natural materials in an often-cold and concrete-dominated space. The inclusion of wooden decking not only added warmth to the space but also provided a texture that helped break up the monotony of the walls. The brass details added a touch of sophistication and complemented the natural wood tones of the decking. This design decision helped to create a distinct and welcoming environment in the gym area, which added to the overall luxurious feel of the apartment complex.
For the vanity units in the building, we opted for melamine, which provided a natural wood feel without compromising durability. Melamine is a highly durable and moisture-resistant material that is perfect for use in high-traffic areas, making it the ideal choice for this luxury apartment complex.
Finally, we crafted a beautiful staircase for the penthouse apartment from engineered wooden flooring, which leads up to the balcony. This flooring choice provides a highly durable and long-lasting option that can withstand the rigours of daily use while providing a warm and welcoming feel to the space.
All of these materials work together to give Symbol Residences an air of sophistication and luxury, while also ensuring that the building is highly durable and capable of withstanding the wear and tear of daily life. The inclusion of natural materials such as Iroko, brass, and engineered wood, help to create a warm and inviting environment that feels like home.
